Dear Street Festival Family,

We hope that you are all staying healthy during this very difficult time. After careful consideration, it has become increasingly clear that it will not be feasible to host the St. Matthews Street Festival on August 1st  as planned. However, we are happy to announce that we will be hosting a virtual Street Festival live from your living room.

We’re so excited to come together with our amazing community to bring you this virtual event in hopes of bringing some live music and a little bit of Street Festival right to your living rooms. Sessions will be live streamed on our Facebook page. Virtual tip jars will be posted on each live stream to help support our local bands as the cancellation of events and closed venues has been extremely hard on them. Keep an eye out on the streams if you want to show them some love.

There will also be a virtual marketplace appearing on our Street Festival website where you can shop from your favorite vendors. We understand that not everyone is able to support our vendors and bands with money right now, but you can also help them by sharing, inviting friends, participating, and commenting on the posts. A strong community is crucial, and we appreciate each and every one of you!

While we can’t get together in person right now, we don’t want to see our community lose an event that they have supported so strongly over the years and we truly hope that we will be able to make the streets of St. Matthews rock again in 2021!

Stay healthy and rock on St. Matthews!
